Butech Bliss, a world class designer and manufacturer of custom machinery for the metals industry, is seeking a well-qualified, multi-talented Mechanical Technician to repair and maintain a wide range of industrial machinery and related systems. This individual will be tasked with troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading various mechanical systems throughout several Butech Bliss manufacturing facilities.
Applicant must be a self-starter that demonstrates a sense of urgency when assigned to critical projects. Strong organization and communication skills are required and the technician must be equally capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Extensive experience repairing mechanical equipment as well as the ability to interpret drawings and schematics is required. In addition to a strong mechanical aptitude, applicant must have a working knowledge in specific areas including: hydraulics, pneumatics, and AC/DC electrical equipment.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience maintaining machine shop equipment (machine tools) including mills, lathes, grinders, etc. Knowledge of various CNC controls and related troubleshooting is a plus. We are looking for a motivated candidate capable of leading projects ranging from basic machine axis alignments to overall equipment rebuilds. Experience developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans is a plus.
This position requires the minimum of a High School Diploma with at least of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment. Applicants must have working knowledge of industry safety standards, general facility maintenance, and basic industrial housekeeping practices.
